Sri Nibaran Chandra Basu Thakur from ‘Najir Badi’ had a third son whose name was Pratap Chandra Basu Thakur and he worked in the multinational company called Imperial Chemical Industries and its subsidiary was Alkali and Chemical Corporation. He worked as a manager of the Rishra Plant of Alkali and Chemical Corporation. He was a Chemist there. He got promoted and went to this post on his own. Among the Indians he was the first who was appointed Director of the company.
