At the end of the nineteenth century Dr. Rashmohan Basu Thakur passed the medical examination and joined a government hospital as a doctor. Because of his profession he had to move to different parts of Bangladesh. However, during the time of his leave he always used to get back to his village in Malkhanagarh. While staying in his village he used to treat patients for free.
