Sri Amarendranath Basu Thakur was the second son of Sri Rajendranath Basu Thakur (Moddhe r Badi) and he made his name in Bombay film industry for dancing. Everybody knows him by the name of ‘Amar Jyoti’. 1937 is the year when his name and fame in dancing started to spread. He was applauded by all famous dancing people of India. But his fame vanished very quickly.
